And really hoping there is someone else looking for an easy 5KM tomorrow? Any takers or will I just be meeting you for coffee afterwards?
Can't wait to see you, my lovelies!

Running Jan 14 & Snowshoeing Jan 16
Hi Ladies,
Hope you are all doing well. I'm not sure if I'm coming out tomorrow so I thought I would touch base here. What time is everyone meeting to run?
For those who are interested in joining me on Monday with Telemarks Women's Snowshoe Group here is some info:
$5/person for trail pass
$10/person for snowshoe rentals
Group leaves at 9:30 so if you have to rent you should be there by 9ish.
Here are some tips I've learned along the way:
- most women don't use poles...unless they have balance problems ;)
- layer but don't wear too much. It has been colder lately but I would suggest wearing what you run in, you will get hot!
- hiking boots are best if you have them. Your feet will get hot. Boots with ability to flex feet are best.
- the trails are well travelled so don't worry about gaitors or snowpants
- Most gals pack water bottles
Anyone want to carpool? I have a van that seats 7 but my vertigo is a little worse so I can't drive. If things improve I'll drive or someone can drive my van.
The trail we should take is called Panorama. It would fit everyone's ability and is very scenic. It should take us 1-1.25 hours to do. Amy and I did it so she can let you know how she felt about it. The ladies usually hang out at the lodge and visit after, it's a really nice time. Feel free to pack tea bags or snacks for after. They have a kettle and microwave and they sell some snacks, hot chocolate and coffee.

Hope to see you soon,

Saturday Dec 17th and WENATCHEE/RACE TRIP
Hello ladies!
I hope lots of girls can make it out for breakfast on Saturday! Kari has made reservations for 9:30 at the Blind Angler :-)
On a Road Trip note...
This past weekend we were chatting a little more about whether we would go to Wenatchee this spring or try a different race to mix it up a bit... I did some research and this is what I'm thinking about some of the other options we discussed...
Seattle Marathon - it's end of June, probably not a great time for most of us to get away
Tacoma Marathon - has no 10K option
Spokane Bloomsday - is a Sunday
Did anyone find any other options?
Should we decide on Wenatchee -- APRIL 21ST-- I did find TWO NEW VACATION RENTALS, 10 HOUSES FROM EACH OTHER!!!! They will sleep 16 with women sharing King and Queen beds (no single beds). Also, there is a hot tub :-) They are in East Wenatchee, 4 miles from shopping. They look gorgeous!

If we decide on Saturday that we want to go for this option, I'll collect a $40 deposit from whoever wants to go and I'll reserve these places. If we have 16 girls, the accommodations will be about $70 each for the weekend. (A little more if we don't have 16, a little less if we have some girls come last minute and charge them a few bucks less for a spot on the floor.)
**DEPOSITS WILL BE NON-REFUNDABLE BUT TRANSFERABLE... as in, if you give me a deposit but then you can't come, you can sell your spot to someone else who hasn't already given me a deposit – and it will be up to you to arrange it. Anyone who gives me a deposit will be "registered" for accommodations but I won’t count on anyone who doesn’t give a deposit. (It’s just gotten a little complicated in the past.) No big rush on the deposits, but I will be putting down 50% to hold the rentals, so if you can get me a cheque, that would be great
SOOOOOO..... think about it all and we can make a decision on Saturday
If you can’t make it Saturday but have anything to add to the Race Trip conversation, please e-mail your thoughts!
ALSO, THERE IS AN EARLY BIRD DEADLINE OF JAN 1ST FOR THE WENATCHEE FULL AND HALF MARATHON -- THE 10k Doesn't have a price increase until mid March -- fyi.
Have a great week, everyone!

Hello long lost sisters!
I can't wait to get out there tomorrow and hopefully see at least some of you!
I'm up for a 7:45 start and will probably only make it to the boatlaunch and back -- anyone else heading out for a brisk am run??
