Also, just a reminder that NEXT Saturday is our SOLE SISTERS KICK OFF... so we hope there are lots of us out and if you want to wear your t-shirt, that would be fun!

Hey Hey everyone!
Well, the summer is winding up, everyone is coming back from holidays and getting back into routine is just around the corner. As much as the word "routine" might not be all that appealing for some of us, the up side is that hopefully we'll be seeing more of each other again as we hit the pavement!

A couple of event to look forward to...

SOLESISTERS SEPTEMBER KICK-OFF RUN - SEPT 8th!
We were talking last Sat that we should have a special fall kick-off/welcome back from summer/let's get this thing really going again day kind of a day,sooooooo....
SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 8TH, 7AM @ BLISS
(does 7 sound ok? I just thought it should be cooler by then and it might sound more appealing than 6:30 for any new girls)... so if you've been waiting for the fall to get going again, if you have friends who have expressed an interest, if you've been lurking around the blog wondering when to jump in... this is it! Grab a girlfriend and come on out for this special day! AS AN ADDED INCENTIVE, WE'LL EVEN HAVE A COUPLE OF LITTLE DOORPRIZES!! (If anyone would like to donate anything, just let me know... but only if you want to!) Who's in??

FAMILY BEACH DAY
I think a few of our have talked about gettting together with our kids some time... I'm just going to put it out there and see if anyone would like to get together at the beach next Tuesday, August 28th... Pritchard Beach, 10am. I'll be there if anyone would like to join me :-)

Thanks girls! So looking forward to reconnecting with you this fall! We all hope those who haven't been able to make it out for a while will join us again in the fall!!

Up for a Kelowna Waterfront Run?

Hey Gals,
Thought some of you might be interested in a different running scene. I plan to be in Kelowna for the Apple (watching some of the juniors) for 7:30am. So I thought if anyone wanted to do a 6:30 run along Abbott and then run back towards the tri route, I would be into that.
Rebecca's daughter is competing and we can see how fit and fast some of these younguns are!
FYI, I finally have a website! It is not perfect but it is up - www.active8fitness.ca.
