Hello ladies!
It was a beautiful morning in East Kelowna! Stephanie made awesome time (46 minutes, I think!) and Mel ran her very first 10K!!!! whooo hooooo!
We decided as a group it was time to start a little earlier, so begining next Saturday we'll meet at Bliss at 7am. If that's just too early for you and you prefer to start later, post your thoughts and maybe someone else will want a later start too!
Looking forward to a good run next Sat, and then most of us will NOT be at Peachland on June 7th as Sunday the 8th is RACE DAY!
ALSO REMEMBER THAT THE REGISTRATION FEE FOR THE WOMEN'S RUN GOES UP JUNE 1ST, so get your registration in this week and save a few bucks!

May 24th... the Plan??
Hey everyone!
Just checking to see who's planning what for Saturday... some of us were planning to go to East Kelowna to run the race route... some of us were planning a little trip to the farmers market after our run, some of us need to head home right away...
Here's what I know... please post a comment so we know where everyone is at and can arrange carpooling...LET'S LEAVE THE WESTSIDE AT 7AM AND MEET IN THE PARKING LOT ACROSS FROM THE STORE AT THE RACE ROUTE.
East Kelowna & Farmer's Market...
Dawn (has to bring her own car as Brod has a baseball game in town so I'm going straight there after the market)
Mel (driving)

Shirt Order & Contact List
Hey girlies...
If you still want a shirt, please let me know ASAP... by next Saturday (the 24th) at the latest. I'll be bringing the shirts in for printing the following Monday!
I'm going to say shirts will be $20 after printing.
I'm also trying to make a list of our phone numbers and e-mails (to hand out,not to post on the blog) so that if we need to get intouch with each other we can.

Striking A Pose -- JUST FOR YOU!
Okay, Okay...
I'm really frustrated because I wasn't able to find "the perfect" new shirt for us. So, the next best thing are these green t's ($11 from Walmart!) I bought every shirt thye had and think I think there are enough of them. If not, I also got some of the same shirt only in a turqoise color, which looks nice beside the green, so if a few of us would prefer turqoise they'll still look great together. (I hope you enjoy the modeling:-)
I am kind of feeling like the whole point of doing new shirts was that we wanted tanks or little cap sleeves... but I haven't been able to find any. Second to that, some of us are sick of the pink ones. So, I think what we have here is an option for those who want a new SS shirt or didn't get one last year. Also, we kind of think that these shirts will be lighter than the pink ones, which someone noted were a little hot.
To further complicate the issue, apparently the technical t's I ordered samples of have arrived, so I'll bring them on Saturday too... I think they are going to be too boxy, but we'll see. I know they will be more expensive.
All this to say...Order a green one if you want one... don't if you're happy with your pink one... and if we need to dip into the turqoise onese, let me know if you'd prefer that over green!

IMPORTANT MATTERS OF BUSINESS!
LADIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope you all had a great weekend and that all the moms got to kick back yesterday!
A few things we need to discuss...
1) Shirts
I need to know who would probably want one and what size they would probably need.
We narrowed it down to one shirt, but we're really hoping for more of a tank style... so I'm going to give it one more week to see if I can find anything. I've looked almost everywhere and finding a tank style, without a racing back, in the right material, and is not white, black or pink, with all our sizes in stock, is TOUGH!!! I'm hoping Costco will have something new tomorrow when I go. Otherwise we'll go with the green tee's in a lightweight fabric. COULD YOU PLEASE RESPOND AND LET ME KNOW WHAT SIZE YOU'D LIKE? I'll keep the list updated (Karleigh, Patti & I have tried on the sample shirts)

Who is into driving out to the race route on saturday the 24th, rather than going to Peachland? I know some of us would like to do a stop at the farmer's market after wards... I've never been there but I'm sure there are places to grab a coffee or snack there. I'm suggesting we leave the westside at 7am. Post if you're interested in a little change of scenery (and farmer's market), or if you plan to stick with Peachland on that date. Also, I'm sorry I forgot the registration forms for the women's race. I'll bring them next Saturday, or you can download the form from the Fresh Air website.

WOMEN'S RUN INFO IS UP!
Hey SoleSisters!!
Fresh Air has the race info up and it's time to register!! The race is Sunday, June 8th and is always a great day. We'll have to stick with tradition and go for Natchos at Red Robin again, right?? I'll bring a bunch of reg forms on Saturday and will be happy to drop off any forms and cheques!
I wonder if anyone is interested in switching locations one Saturday coming up. If we drove out to East Kelowna, ran the race route and then perhaps a stop at the Farmers' Market? Would anyone be into that?? I'm going to suggest Saturday the 24th.
Otherwise, who's coming out on saturday?
