Dec 27 - Sole Sisters on the Ski Hill

Hope everyone had a great Christmas! In case someone might read the blog this week, I'll just post a quick note about the plan. Leslie and I (Kari) are planning on skiing up at Telemark instead of running. We'll be ready to start from the lodge at 9:20/30ish if anyone wants to join us. It will be an easy going ski since I ate too much Christmas baking and Leslie hasn't skied in 15+ years. I have an extra set of size 7 boots and ski's if anyone wants to borrow them--just post ahead of time so I can bring them. Rentals are also available.

Sat December 20 - To Run or Not To Run

Well....not sure if anyone is contemplating running in this cold weather. I'd like to because all this inactivity is interfering with my love of food (I'm getting fatter and fatter and I can't do up my snow pants). I'm going to show for 7:30 unless I post otherwise early Sat morning if no one else is going. Layering is the key!!

For those who might check this post, that didn't read the blog last week, Peachland is sponsering their first 1/2 marathon on April 26. Read previous week comments if you want more info or you can just ask me.

Ha Ha Ha!!! December 13th!!

I am not sure if any of you are even checking this blog .. with snow outside, it is almost hilarious that some of us would even consider a brisk satuday morning run... in the snow...
I am up for it... but I will play it by ear because we dont know what the night and early morning will have in store for us , weather wise.
I will post tommorrow morning at 7... for anyone who might like to be an extremist with me and say that they have done some " winter running"

Hello girls...
I'm heading out for a brisk walk tomorrow... I think Karleigh said she's coming out too... I'll plan to finish at 8:30 for something very, very, very warm.
Any one else up for a crisp am run/walk/sip??
