Hello!!
We made it through another school yearand what better way to celebrate than with a group of friends, running, walking, eating and chatting!
I ( karleigh) will try to be there, but I will have friends in towna nd i am going to try to drag them along... and I will be walking...
7:30 start for me....

ps. I just copied this info off the peachland website about the beach run on canada day... if anyone is interested.. I think I will do it...


Race Check In 6:30 to 7:45 am.
Race Start 8:30 a.m.

Location at Heritage Park.

Register at the Peachland Recreation Office 4450 - 6th St, in person, by mail, by phone, or by email. Race Information may also be obtained by phoning Kim at 250.767.3090.

5 km Run, 10 km Run, 5 km walk. This event is one of the District of Peachland's Canada Day Celebrations and is also a fundraising event for Children's Cancer.

Entry Fees: $30 up to June 19th. After June 19th add $5
Entry Fees for Parent/Child category: $45 up to June 19th. After June 19th add $5
In Parent/Child Category, child must be 12 years or under.

Hot Run in East Kelowna

I still say the Ladies Run is the best run of the year. You would not believe how amazing Alexis and Nancy looked after 10k in the sweltering heat. Their times were fantastic--51 or 52 minutes. WOW! My Jillian kept me going in the 5 K--much more leisurely event than those 10 K people! We missed our sole sister gang though! It just wasn't the same without that pink or blue/green wall waiting to celebrate with us at the finish line. Next year. Right!! It's great doing this running thing with all of you. See you Saturday (6:30?) I hope.
