Sat November 28 and Important Information

Hi everyone,

Thought I'd get straight down to business. For those who have not heard, there are several of us who have talked about doing a desitination run (for the purpose of running, eating, shopping and fellowship)to Wenatchee this April 17, 2010. The day of this race happens to fall on the lovely Dawn Kern's 40th Birthday. Everything about this trip sounds perfect so we can chat about all the details at Bliss but if you want more info about the race itself, go to www.wenatcheemarathon.com. There are fee saving deadlines starting Dec 1, then Jan 1 and so on. Not huge jumps in the beginning but thought I would let you know. The route looks great and no major hills! Check it out and thanks Dawn for finding this gem.

As for this Sat, I'm hoping for 10k at 7:15. It was still dark this morning at 7:15 so I might change to 7:30 if no one else wants 7:15. I'll check the blog tomorrow night to be sure.

Not too sure how far I'm going to run, depends on if it's raining or windy. I think I'll set out for 7:15 and see when I end up.

Hi Ladies

I'm looking forward to catching up with all of you again. Hopefully the snow and the wind won't be an issue tomorrow.

I'm looking for a longer run, hopefully 12-13k, but I may be doing it all on flat roads if my skiing muscles don't feel better by then. In any event, I'll be at Bliss for 7:15. Would be willing to do 7am if anyone posts in with that time, otherwise I'll stick to 7:15.

Should take about 3 weeks to get them. They worked out to $25.45 Cdn each, and I'll collect the $$ when we get them :-)

So as I was ordering the RUN LIKE A GIRL necklaces, the artist offered this little baby up for us.... so I put our order on hold until I find out who wants which one :-)




The largest disk is about the size of a penny, fyi.

So... we have our choice. Both are approx $25... I'm going to send in the order on Monday... please let me know your preference :-) We can re-order more anytime, but we'll save on shipping if we order together now.
