Training Plans Anyone?
I'd like to offer a basic half marathon training plan for anyone who wants one. Now that I have a bit more free time, I don't mind doing this at all and I would like to see everyone get to the finish line in Wenatchee injury free....and maybe even a few best times!
I will bring some copies with me on Sat. but if you comment on the post, I'll have a better idea of how many copies to make.

Sounds like we've got a couple of new faces joining us these days... WELCOME!
What's everyone's plan for this weekend?
As for me, I'd like to get in 15K and thinking I'm going to start at 6:45. I'll probably plan to be back around Bliss for 7:30 to join a group... I'll meet someone somewhere I'm sure!

Wenatchee Accomodations are Booked!
Please check the list below to make sure I haven't missed anyone! There are 13 beds available (some King & Queen sharing required)and sadly, no hot tub :-) Can I ask you to give me a $30 deposit at your earliest convenience, as I have had to put down a chunk for our reservation. Thank you!

Wenatchee Stuff!
Hi girls!
I'm not going to be there this week b/c I'm taking a course but wanted to mention a couple of things...
Race:
I've added a link to the race website on the right sidebar.
Wenatchee Accomodation:
Just letting you know I'm inquiring about a couple of vacation rentals for Wenatchee... it's a nice alternative to a hotel for our group and not more expensive.
It looks like our best bet is a big house that sleeps 11 in beds, plus has a blow up queen. After that it's couches & floors. It's $347/night, so if there are at least 10 of us, it's only $35/night... which I think we will have... I'm more concerned about having too many more girls than that and not having beds. I can't put a hold on this property and they don't have a cancellation policy, so I'd like to book it asap if we want it.
One thing that would really help in planning this option is to get a better read on WHO is registered or seriously thinking about it. Please comment where you stand so we can start getting a head count. thanks!
Shopping and the Weekend:
So, from talking to a few people and a hearing from a few more Sole Sisters about what kind of a weekend everyone is looking for, I'm wondering if the shopping side-trip to Seattle/Bellingham is necessary. Apparently there is a fair bit of shopping to be had in Wenatchee, for those who are interested (Ross, Target, Walmart, Buckle and more) and I wonder if we wouldn't enjoy a second night at the house. Those who want to shop can do a bit of that and those who want to recoup and relax and just enjoy a weekend away can do that too? No extra driving, no splitting up (unless some can only get away for the one night)... it just might be a more relaxing approach ot the weekend and unless anyone is really looking for a hard-core shopping experience it might suit us better. PLEEEEAAASE WEIGH IN ON THIS!! How would two nights in Wenatchee sound to you if we had a house to hang out in? Who can only get away for one night?

Our first run of 2010?
Hellooo ladies!
My body is screaming to sweat, after a week of non-stop baking, eggnog, chips and dip, turkey, coke, etc. My yoga pants are stressed at the seams.
I don't know how far I will make it, but I'm up for a 7:30 run tomorrow. Anyone else? Can I pick anyone else up?
