Hey Hey!

Have the racers all bounced back from the weekend??

My muscles are fine, but I've got a toenail that is not. I taped it down this am and went for a walk and it feels better... I've been granny-sandle lady all week!

Once again, I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU for making my birthday so special... it was awesome to share that day with you. Thanks for spoiling me and making that very treasured album! Thanks also for everyone who has encouraged me along the way in training for this race... I'm sooooo proud of all of us! I love that we bring out the best in each other -- thanks for doing that for me!

Who's in for OIM in October??

Now, here we are another Saturday with beautiful lake to run along and no training pressure... what's everyone's plan?

For my, I have to be back home by 8:30, so I'm thinking of running at 7am for about 45 mins and then a little coffee. Anyone else interested in going that early?

Group discount for Ballet Kelowna

Hey gals,
I ran into the administrative manager for Ballet Kelowna at Bliss last Saturday and she let me know that we could get a group discount to their next performance (either Friday, April 30th, or the matinee on May 1st). I already have tickets to the matinee....but I thought I would let everyone know and if you are interested I can arrange it. The ticket prices are already reasonable in my mind and the performances always exceed my expectations.
Secondly, she also runs an organic farm in Peachland....so...if that interests anyone...I know she said peas....but perhaps there are other products as well.

What's everyone's plan for tomorrow?
Myself, I'm planning on doing flat intervals... to the BA and then to the bottom of the hill. I'll leave Bliss at 7:30... anyone joining me?

Hoping it's a nice morning after the crazy weather this week! I don't think my conscience can handle another week of no-run-long-coffee!

Easter Weekend & Driving to Wenatchee

Happy Easter Girls! Hope you're all getting some time for rest and refreshing and reflecting!!

I know some are traveling this weeking, but I'm still up for a light run this Sat... anyone else? I did 20 on Wed (whoo hooooo!) so I'm thinking more like 8 or 10 tomorrow and I'll start at 7:30. Anyone else planning for Peachland?

On another note... I'm e-mailing everyone their "statement" for necklaces/shirts/accomodation... Danette & Cathy I don't have your e-mail address so we can square up with your necklace comes in.

Necklaces are ordered, shirts are at the printers and accomodations are paid for.
