FALL SHIRTS!

Patti has a fabulous recommendaton for us! She bought, wore and LOVED this long sleeved T from MEC. We have a medium sample, (Patti's :-) and we should take a peek at it to see if anyone wants one.

There are only two color choices (since we'll do our logo in white)... Royal Blue or Black.

They retail at $32, and maybe we can get a bit of a break for a bulk order.

Just a little note to say a huge thank you for all your love and friendship over the past few years.... for the generous gift of the charm and the gift certificate!! I am still overwhelmed by it all...
things here are pretty good here...... considering I dont have you!
I am thinking of trying to get some of the ladies I know here together on saturday mornings for walk runs, starting in september at a local coffee shop..... so that is great...wish me luck.. it is a hard sell getting people that dont know each other out of bed on a rainy saturday to RUN!
I just wanted to you to know, I went on to the LULULEMON website today and used my 90 dollar gift certificate to buy a whole new running outfit!! YIP yip yahoo!!
and I picked up a pair of these...
a jacket and a pair of lulu running shorts/capris.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I think of all of you every time I wear them.
Oh... and I am going to pop in for a visit on saturday the 11th of september and to have a tree hugger!!!

Important Stuff & Aug 21 plans!

Hi girlies!
I am away with the guys this weekend, so I'll miss you on Sat, but there are a couple of things I wanted to point out!

1) RUN FOR THE CURE - OCT 3rd!
If you're interested in being part of the Sole Sisters & Friends team, please register yourself online. It's sooo easy. Go here and select "Join a Team" and find us! If you aren't interested/able to run this one, we'd love your money!! You can use the this link to donate to our team :-)

Speaking of Fundraising... if you want to be on the SS team AND you want to be a part of the fundraising effort, please let me know as I have two ideas in mind to raise some money for the team. The deal is that you can pay the $40 registration fee or pledge to raise $150 per person. Doable, I think!!

Run day is just 6 weeks away so we need to get our act together if you would like to participate in the fundraising as a team member. TOTALLY optional! Just let me know!

2) IRON MAN - AUG 29TH
Mel and I have volunteered to be finish line catchers again this year. It is SOOO fun and we'd love to have more company with us! If this interests you, you can contact the catcher coordinator here. There is a mandatory meeting on Sat at 2pm in Penticton, and then we are working the late shift, 7pm-midight on Sunday. So rewarding, so inspiring... such an honor to be the first person an ironman talks to after the race! Would love to see a few Sole sisters out there. Best to buddy up if possible, but not necessary!

3) All you injured girls -- be encouraged! You are loved! Wishing you rapid recoveries!!
