UPDATE, TUESDAY JAN 25TH: AFTER A FACEBOOK MEETING OF THE MINDS, WE HAVE DECIDED TO BOOK THE SECOND LOCATION, SO I'VE PUT A DEPOSIT ON BOTH UNITS. PLEASE BRING IN A $40 DEPOSIT FOR ACCOMODATIONS THIS WEEKEND AND GIVE TO ALEXIS. MS. LARSON HAS AGREED TO BE THE ACCOMODATIONS COORDINATOR FOR THIS TRIP AND WILL BE MANAGING THE MONEY AND THE SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS :-) TALK TO HER IF YOU HAVE ANY REQUESTS :-)
If you missed last Sat, you missed the growing enthusiasm over the Wenatchee Marathon Relay! It looks like we'll have 1 or two teams... and we'll want to get them registered on the weekend, so think about whether you might like to be a part of this -- it'll be fun to add something different into our history! There are 5 & 10KM legs, which can be combined if anyone wants to do a 15KM leg
Would be great to get an idea of who is interested in doing what and who's coming to Wenatchee for racing OR for fun -- please comment your area of interest and I'll keep the list updated :-) Let me know if I confused any info I heard on saturday :-)
Also, I have booked the same house as last year, so the first 12-14 girls to commit get a spot in that house. I have also got a loose hold on the townhouse across the street incase we have a few more girls. (It's looking like we're going to need that 2nd house -- don't be shy if you wan to come but you think it's looking too full!)
As for this Saturday -- Andrea and I are leaving the station at 7:45 with our 4 & 1's! Still good for any other beginners to join us!
