Just a reminder that this week is a regular BLISS run, 7:30 am.
If anyone is interested in running the race route next week, post about it and see who wants to go.
Make sure you get your registration in next week for the race!
I have a feeling I will not be racing afterall... on account of the fact that I can not move as I've done something very very bad to my back... check my blog for the gory details. If I can walk by saturday I'll try to come for coffee... I am one disappointed solesister :-( BUT, I will be one heck-of-a-photographer!

I'm going to try and figure out a post but in case I don't, is anyone interested in running East Kelowna Sat morning? Colleen (from Stephanie's new running group might go to try the 5k). If there is no interest, how bout Wed night?

I'd like to go to E Kelowna on Saturday but I'd have to go much earlier than usual--ie. leave my house about 6:00 or 6:30. Is that too wacky of an idea? It's going to be cookin' hot on Saturday. Any earlybirds in the group?
More importantly -- HOW ARE YOU, DAWN? I am so sorry you're hurting!
I am surviving on a nice cocktail of drugs and my nurse/manservant, Joel. I still can't move very well, I can't walk at all without help, but believe it or not I am seeing some improvement... i.e. I haven't passed out after my journey to the bathroom the last two times.

Never take the ability to put your own underwear on for granted.
Joel and I are having some really good laughs, I'll tell ya.

Would love to try the route and given how hot it will be I agree it should be early. Do you think there will be worms out there Patti to make it worth it? I would do the 5K as well. I have decided that is what I am going to do as I am going to take part in the 24 hour relay that weekend.
Dawn, I don't know your blog...but I am sorry to hear you are injured. I won't be running this Sat. am as I have to be to work at the rec. centre by 9. I could do an earlier run but it would be easier to just run from my house.

I can be an earlybird but I won't be able to get a ride that early. Anyone crazy enough to pick me up? If not, I can get a ride into Westbank by 6:30.

I'll miss you tomorrow! I did however progress to shuffling to the bathroom all by myself today! SO I feel like I make a lot of progress... but still have a long way to go.

Okay ladies here's the scoop. Rebecca, Corinne M, Kathy S all agreed to be at my house at 6:30 to head off to E Kelowna. Linda, Kari ... Anyone else feel like beating the heat? Kari, we'll probably just do the 5 km though. You might want to go longer. Maybe some of you want to sleep in and meet at 7:30 at Bliss!?

I'm not sure what I'm doing yet. If I'm at your house at 6:30 then can I snag a ride? If I'm not there then I couldn't find a ride home from East Kelowna because I do want to do the 10k route since Sat is my only day I can do a long run before the race. I'll be at Bliss if I don't go to Patti's.

yes, Kari, you can snag a ride! Unfortunately, none of us going so far plan to stay long enough to do a 10 km. Sorry I can't be more helpful!

Yes, we do have dial up. I know we're a few years behind the world in technology! My kids were excited a couple years ago when we got a TV with a remote control! And I still don't know how to program my cell phone!
So far it looks like about 6 of us heading east! More are welcome of course.
