Hope everyone had a great New Years! Anyone out there checkin out the blog, having been away for awhile? We are still meeting!!
This Sat we are meeting at 8:00 and will run whatever the conditions will allow. For those who don't know, winter running can be one of the most beautiful times of the year to run (you just have to wear a couple of layers).
Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow. Amy, you said you're coming right? Just a little nudge!

Have some of you forgotten how wonderful Bliss is after a run??
The -20c run Kari and I had 2 weeks ago was fabulous and neither of us even got a cough!!
We were hoping an 8:00 run might get some of you coming out again...

Here's the directions you asked for.
Just FYI everyone- there's a sledding/tobagganing party open to everyone Sun (tomorrow) at 2pm. There's a great run- fast but with high sides. A pick-up truck can take you around to the top again or you can hoof it up the hill :). There's chili and a bonfire. Bring s'more stuff if you want. It's for kids too for sure. My kids loved it last year.
Take HWY 97 toward Kelowna.
Turn left at Westside Rd S
Turn left at Bear Creek Rd (5.1 km)
Turn right to stay on Bear Creek Rd (4.4 km )
Take Bear Creek Road to the end. As you come to the end (it's a long way . . .) there's should be a sign for the party. It's the Jean property. The driveway is long and windy - Drive safely
