Great Big Run for Africa!

Hi Ladies,
We are at it again. I am looking for your support to help raise funds for women in Africa to support their families through the creation of their own businesses! Apparently our donations over the past three years have made a huge impact and the recipient organizations are planning to move into more rural areas. One of our coordinators of the run took the opportunity to travel to Africa late this summer and is more impressed with what our funds have done than ever.
I am not sure that I will ever afford the trip...but I am so motivated by the stories of others.
The four of us organizing the event have set a crazy goal of raising $100,000 this year. We started out with $7,000 when I ran the 100km and then it rose to $30,000 the following year and over $40,000 last year.
So I have to pull up my socks and raise more money. Patty and Dawn ran with us last year....and anyone is welcome to join us but I have to say that fundraising is the name of the game. So, if you would like to donate or run and fundraise, let me know.
I will try to make it out one of these Sat. in the near future. I will definitely be at the half Oct. 12.
